Yuxi Lu is a multi-disciplinary artist who studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, Belgium. She obtained Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Jewelry Design & Gold and Silversmithing with the distinction of Magna cum laude at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp.
With 7 years of experience in arts and crafts field, she has developed a unique sustainable method that transforms the discarded remnants of urban life into valuable treasures, unveiling overlooked liveness within urban material. Her innovative work has gained recognition and has been showcased in exhibitions such as the Dutch Design Week, Gallery Marzee graduation show and Munich Jewelry Week. She has also received the 2nd prize of BKV PRIZE 2023.
As Yuxi Lu continues to explore the boundaries of creativity, she is committed to advancing the dialogue on sustainability in art and design.
